Starting Your Online Business with SFI

Thank you for taking the time to visit with me; I promise to make it worthwhile.  My name is Borcia Stefan Iulian, I live in the Belgium with my wife  and work from home in my SFI business.  It is quite an honor to work with you in establishing your online operation. I have found SFI to be an excellent blueprint for anyone looking to create a profitable business.

My personal hope is to ensure that affiliates succeed. That’s because I think that everyone deserves the opportunity to own a successful business.  It will take consistent action to create, but it is a lot of fun. When you’re ready to go into business for yourself it is best to start with the program that fits your objectives, as well as your lifestyle. This may be a difficult choice due to the fact that so many programs seem to offer substantial benefits at first glance. Start by compiling a checklist of questions that should be answered by any program that you are researching.

These are my top 10 questions which should be included in your research:

• How stable is the company, in terms of finances and organization?
• Where the company located? Is it regional, national or international in scope?
• Is there a physical address and a corporate office along with other contact information?
• Who owns the company, is it a sole proprietorship, partnership or a corporation?
• What is the history and credentials of the owners of the company?
• What kind of organizational structure do they use and how many members do they happen?
• Apart from standard public relations information, what kind of reputation does the company have in the marketplace?
• Do they have any negative financial or legal actions with which to contend now or in their past?
• Is there organizational and compensation structure in compliance with national and international laws?
• Is there a support structure and educational program available for new members?

I’m sure you’ll be able to come up with more questions once you use mine as a basic framework. It is necessary to spend some time on the research because you will be investing a lot of energy in building a viable business for the future. You must get his much information as you can about the company and its owners as well as developing a sense of what can work for you financially.

Weight Your Decisions Carefully

Keep in mind that many of the decisions we make have two components to them; a logical and an emotional component. Many of us tend to make logical justifications for emotional decisions; which we later come to regret. Since you are embarking on a business venture, it is crucial to focus on business principles throughout your investigation.

Let’s recap a few essentials which a viable business program should be able to pass with flying colors. The US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) carefully scrutinizes business opportunities to ensure that BizOp members are protected from fraud and abuse. There are international organizations that do the same thing worldwide. You should be able to log on to the various governmental websites that deal with business opportunities and business programs.

Check the contact numbers associated with the business program. Make the phone calls and send out emails to evaluate the responses. Business opportunity websites should have a support line. Take a few minutes to call them and evaluate their response time as well as their ability to answer your questions.

Here’s something that can now be accomplished quite easily at may not of been possible a decade ago; plug in the address of the business in Google maps or Google Earth. You should be able to see exactly where their business is located. If all you have is a PO Box and no physical address, you may want to take that one off your list.

Stability and reputation are two invaluable components for a viable business opportunity. A company that hosts a wide membership base is likely to be more stable than a startup with a ground floor opportunity. Look for companies with accreditation to consumer organizations such as the Better Business Bureau along with solid financial credentials.

At the very least, you should be able to find the information on the Internet about the company in question. If your research does not result in satisfactory answers, take that company off your list. This holds true whether you are making the decision to go into business on your own or if you are being recruited by someone else.
